Due to a bunch of unavoidable conflicts, this year’s WonderFall only had 6 attendees for the whole weekend, plus a bonus 7th on Saturday. Fortunately, there were some of the most fun, friendly, and fabulous people I know, so we all had a great time. With so few people, the main group mainly played together the whole time, with the occasional person or pair taking a break to recharge.
We managed a card game of Wizard on Thursday night. On Friday we explored the fantastical spheres of Everway, beat up bad guys with the Sentinels of the Multiverse, and explored the final frontier of Pasion de las Pasiones. On Saturday, we investigated mysteries of Brindlewood Bay, fell in love with our enemies in Mobile Frame Zero: Firebrands, blocked out Blokus: Trigon, saved Halcyon City in Masks, and went down with the starship once The Captain Is Dead. This morning, we made some Azul: Stained Glass.
Holding together all of it was some of the best conversations I’ve had in a long time with old friends and good friends, all. I’m very grateful for our sanctuary in the Sanctuary.
